Zach Yewchuk
Zach Yewchuk is a Canadian volleyball player currently competing as a middle and opposite for Trinity Western University, one of Canada’s top univesity programs. He represented Team Canada as the starting middle at the U21 World Championships in China, where he showcased his athleticism and international experience at the highest level of youth competition. With over five years of beach volleyball experience, much of it in Hawaii against international and Olympic-level players, Zach brings a powerful blend of indoor precision and beach adaptability. He earned Player of the Game honors against Pepperdine University during the Long Beach North American Challenge Tournament and was recognized by the AVCA as one of the Top 10 high school players in the U.S. His competitive background and all-around skill set make him a dynamic mentor and valuable part of the Vietnam Beach Camps coaching team.
Andrew Mason
Andrew is a Beach Volleyball Coach & Athlete from Ottawa, Canada, known for his disciplined approach and positive energy on and off the court. With over a decade of experience in both indoor and beach volleyball, Andrew has built a reputation for combining technical precision with a deep passion for continuous improvement. A 5× Max Volley League Champion and winner of multiple OVA medals, Andrew has competed at elite levels across Canada, training with top athletes — including former Olympians. His coaching experience with programs like Deadman’s Beach High Performance and Ottawa Fusion’s youth teams reflects his commitment to helping players grow in skill, confidence, and mindset. At Vietnam Beach Camps, Andrew brings his expertise and enthusiasm to every session, creating a motivating, high-energy environment for players of all levels to elevate their game and love for beach volleyball.
Isaac Lafond
Isaac is a former University of Ottawa volleyball player with over a decade of experience in both indoor and beach volleyball. During his university career, Isaac earned multiple accolades, including Team MVP, All-ECVA First Team, ECVA North Division Second Team, and Rookie of the Year. Known for his positive attitude on and off the court, he brings an uplifting energy to every training environment. Isaac is passionate about helping athletes get the most out of their volleyball journey. He focuses on skill development, mindset, and inspiring athletes to push their limits while enjoying the process. His positive attitude, expertise, and love for volleyball make him a valuable part of the Vietnam Beach Camps coaching team.
Zach & Kevin
Zach Kahan & Kevin Attebery are core organizers of Volleypallooza, currently the largest beach volleyball tournament in Vietnam and one of the biggest in Asia. Zach, Tournament Director oversees event production, competition structure, bringing professional standards and elite-level organization to every tournament. Kevin, Tournament Director Assistant, supports logistics, scheduling, and player coordination to ensure smooth execution throughout the event. Zach and Kevin will co-organize a special end-of-camp championship tournament featuring Olympic athlete Stefan Boermans, delivering a world-class competitive experience in Da Nang.
Jordan Van De Voort
Jordan is a dedicated beach volleyball player who actively competes in tournaments across Southeast Asia. His experience on the court gives him a strong understanding of training dynamics and player needs. As Coach Assistant and Technical Coordinator, Jordan supports on-court sessions and oversees the technical setup of the camp. From court preparation and equipment management to schedule coordination, he ensures each day runs smoothly and professionally.
Allison – Marketing Manager
Allison takes care of our marketing and keeps everything flowing behind the scenes. Originally from Vancouver, Canada, she brings a calm, organized approach to how we communicate and connect with players.
Working behind the curtains, she helps coordinate communication, content, and camp details so everything feels smooth from the first message to the final day on the sand.
Her focus is simple, making sure every player feels informed, comfortable, and excited to be part of the experience.
David L. Kai
David Kai is a Co-founder & Organizer. David has spent years bringing people together through beach and indoor volleyball in Ottawa, Canada. He began his journey as a volleyball referee and beach tournaments organizer, managing some of the city’s most popular beach events. Combining his passion for community, sports, and travel, he launched Vietnam Beach Camps to create world-class volleyball experiences right on the stunning shores of Da Nang. Known for his attention to detail, organizational skills, and easygoing energy, David ensures that every camp runs smoothly, from court setup to player logistics. His goal is simple: to make Da Nang a new hub for the international beach volleyball community, where players from all levels can train, connect, and enjoy the beach lifestyle together.
